Relieved shoulder pain
5 people found this helpful
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis after experiencing severe shoulder pain. I also suffer from bilateral tennis elbow. The doctor recommended physiotherapy, but I searched for additional options and discovered Bromelain, a natural extract from pineapples. Miraculously, after some time, my pain receded, and I ceased physiotherapy entirely. I have continued taking Bromelain for years, and the improvement has been remarkable. I will continue with this product and am grateful for its effects.

Great anti-inflammatory

I rarely write reviews unless I’m confident in my opinion. Initially purchased to help with digestion, I found it unexpectedly effective for bone pain. While I did not notice significant digestive benefits, it has worked wonders as an anti-inflammatory for my chronic spine and sciatic nerve pain. I previously relied on professional therapy and long walks for relief, but since starting Bromelain, I no longer feel the pain. My wife, suffering similarly, also found relief after trying it. I'm now buying it for my mother, who has significant bone pain. It's been fantastic for our family!

A year ago, I suffered from severe pain in my left shoulder and wrist joints, for which an orthopedic surgeon prescribed bromelain. Recently, I had joint pain in my right shoulder and wrist. I remembered bromelain and bought it as a supplement. Almost immediately, my joint pain began to ease, and now on the third day, I feel little to no pain. It certainly has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Bone pain is a discomfort or ache that originates within the bones themselves and can range from mild to severe. It is different from muscle or joint pain, as it directly affects the skeletal structure. Bone pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including injuries, medical conditions such as osteoarthritis or osteoporosis, infections, or tumors. Symptoms may vary depending on the underlying cause but often include a dull, penetrating ache that may worsen with movement or pressure.
If you're experiencing persistent bone pain, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Imaging tests like X-rays, MRI, or CT scans may be utilized to determine the root cause of the pain. Treatment can vary widely, ranging from medications to alleviate pain and inflammation to physical therapy or, in some cases, surgical interventions. Understanding the underlying cause is crucial to effectively managing bone pain and ensuring the best path to recovery.
Bromelain is a mixture of enzymes found in the pineapple plant, particularly in the stem and fruit. Known for its ability to break down proteins, this natural enzyme is often utilized for its potential health benefits, which include anti-inflammatory properties and digestive support. Many people take bromelain supplements to help with conditions such as sinusitis, osteoarthritis, and muscle soreness following exercise.
Additionally, bromelain is sometimes used in cooking to tenderize meat, as its enzymatic activity helps to break down tough proteins. While bromelain is available in supplement form, it's also found naturally in fresh pineapple, making it an appealing addition to a nutritious diet. If you're considering bromelain for its health benefits, it's always wise to consult with a healthcare provider to ensure it's appropriate for your situation.
Bromelain, an enzyme derived from pineapples, is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and has been studied for various health benefits, particularly in managing pain and swelling. While there is limited evidence specifically addressing bromelain's effectiveness for bone pain, its anti-inflammatory effects may offer some relief for conditions that involve inflammation, such as osteoarthritis. Some users report improved joint mobility and reduced pain when taking bromelain supplements, which might indirectly alleviate discomfort associated with bone issues.
However, it's essential to note that bromelain should not be seen as a substitute for medical treatment. If you're experiencing chronic bone pain, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. As with any supplement, potential interactions with medications or underlying conditions should be carefully considered. Always check with your doctor before starting any new supplement, particularly if you're already taking other medications or have health concerns.

Eliminated bone pain

I have a persistent pain in the back of my neck and shoulders, and have attempted various muscle rubs and creams without much success. Taking 2 of these capsules before bed on an empty stomach resulted in complete relief from pain the following day. Whenever my discomfort returns, I take 2 capsules again, ensuring my stomach is empty, and the pain consistently subsides. It also alleviates my period pain; at the slightest symptom, I take 2 capsules, and it disappears. For more intense pain, I take another 2 after an hour, and it remains effective. I am particularly pleased with this product, especially as it contains no fillers.

Unfortunately, I found that this brand of Bromelain has had no impact on my pain or inflammation, which was surprising given the branding. Many other products from Doctor's Best have worked for me, but this one did not meet expectations.

Less pain with enzymes

As someone with tennis elbow, I've been taking it alongside Wobenzyme. While both products worked sufficiently, I prefer the higher bromelain content here. I've also tried various brands, but I feel a notable reduction in pain when using it with Wobenzyme. I've been enduring pain treatments for a long time, so it’s encouraging to experience less discomfort now. I’m hopeful for long-term relief as I continue with this regimen, taking it twice daily on an empty stomach.
